When I see a landscape, it's freezing a moment of time and place that is worth a memory. Feeling the weather, environment and elements within that I felt drawn to. Sometimes that's the expansive views or a tiny detail within a scene that feels more intimate. There is always a connection felt before pressing the shutter, something about the scene that makes my breathing slow for a minute to take it in.
